Tina Turner (Anna Mae Bullock) was born on the Poindexter Farm land located on  Forked Dear Road  which is also State Route 180.   State Route 180 is located off  Highway 19  or State Route 19 at the Nutbush, Tennessee City Limits and Nutbush  gin.   The Poindexter Farm house and  birthplace house is no longer at the site and was located about 1/4 mile from  the gin;   Tina  was raised in the Flagg Grove Community on Elm Tree Road in Nutbush  where she attended elementary school.  Flagg Grove School
    The now vacant  land  which was called  the  Poindexter Farm from 1939,  once cradled  the Queen of Rock and Roll 2 years in a small house occupied by her father who was overseer;  The property has acquired several owners since her birth and privacy issues were stressed. Birthplace and residence information verified through 1992 interview between Sharon Norris and  Zelma Currie-Bullock.
